Last updated: 1 June 2026

Effective date: 1 June 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Bloodline ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"). Bloodline is a life simulation mobile game developed and published as an independent application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you download and play Bloodline on your iOS or Android device.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By downloading, installing, or using Bloodline, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the App.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

2. Who We Are

Bloodline is an independently developed mobile application. For any privacy-related queries, you can contact us at the email address provided in Section 13 of this policy.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Bloodline stores the following information exclusively on your device using AsyncStorage (a local device storage mechanism). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any external server operated by us:

·  **Game save data** — your character's name, age, gender, country of birth, statistics (happiness, health, intelligence, appearance, fitness), career history, relationships, assets owned, and life event log

·  **Game settings and preferences** — your chosen display preferences, accessibility settings, and gameplay options

·  **Supernatural mode data** — species selection, faction alignment, ability progression, and supernatural statistics if you use this game mode

·  **In-game financial data** — your character's fictional currency, assets, and career earnings within the game world

This data exists solely to enable the save and continue functionality of the game. It is stored on your personal device and can be deleted at any time through the app's Settings screen or by uninstalling the App.

3.2 Information We Do Not Collect

We want to be explicit about what we do not collect:

·  We do not collect your real name

·  We do not collect your email address

·  We do not collect your phone number

·  We do not collect your location or GPS data

·  We do not collect your contacts or address book

·  We do not collect your photos, camera, or microphone data

·  We do not collect your browsing history

·  We do not collect your device's unique identifiers (IDFA, GAID) for advertising purposes

·  We do not collect biometric data of any kind

·  We do not collect financial information, credit card details, or payment information

·  We do not require account registration or login of any kind

3.3 Automatically Collected Technical Data

If you have enabled analytics in the App settings, or if you are using a version of the App distributed through a third-party platform, limited technical information may be collected automatically. This may include:

·  **Device type and operating system version** — used to diagnose compatibility issues

·  **App version** — used to identify which version of the game you are running

·  **Crash reports and error logs** — anonymous technical data used to identify and fix bugs

·  **Session duration and frequency of play** — aggregate, anonymised data used to understand how the game is used

This data is collected in aggregated, anonymised form and cannot be used to identify you personally.

4. How We Use Your Information

The limited information we process is used exclusively for the following purposes:

·  **To operate and maintain the App** — local save data is used to preserve your game progress

·  **To improve the App** — anonymous crash reports and technical logs help us identify and fix bugs

·  **To understand usage patterns** — aggregate analytics (if enabled) help us understand which features are most used so we can improve them

·  **To respond to your requests** — if you contact us directly, we use your contact information solely to respond to your query

We do not use your information for:

·  Targeted advertising

·  Sale or transfer to third parties

·  Profiling or automated decision-making

·  Marketing communications without your explicit consent

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymous, aggregated, non-personally identifiable information in the following limited circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies to facilitate our App, provide services on our behalf, or assist us in analysing how the App is used. These third parties have access only to anonymous technical data and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Current third-party services that may process anonymised technical data include:

·  **Expo / Expo Application Services (EAS)** — used to build and distribute the App. Expo's privacy policy is available at expo.dev/privacy

·  **Apple App Store** — if you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's privacy policy governs their data collection. Available at apple.com/privacy

·  **Google Play Store** — if you downloaded the App from Google Play, Google's privacy policy governs their data collection. Available at policies.google.com/privacy

5.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

·  Comply with a legal obligation or court order

·  Protect and defend our rights or property

·  Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the App

·  Protect the personal safety of users of the App or the public

·  Protect against legal liability

5.3 Business Transfers

In the event that we merge with, are acquired by, or sell all or a portion of our assets to another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via a prominent notice within the App prior to your information being transferred and becoming subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

6.1 Local Device Data

All game save data stored locally on your device is retained until:

·  You manually delete your save data through the Settings screen within the App

·  You uninstall the App from your device

·  You clear the App's local storage through your device's system settings

We have no control over and no access to data stored locally on your device.

6.2 Technical and Analytics Data

Any anonymised technical or analytics data we receive is retained for a maximum of 24 months, after which it is permanently deleted. This retention period allows us to identify trends and long-term technical issues while minimising the duration of any data storage.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These may include:

7.1 Right to Access

You have the right to request information about what personal data we hold about you. Given that Bloodline stores all game data locally on your device and does not collect personal information, there is in most cases no personal data held by us to access.

·  Going to **Settings** within the App and selecting "Delete All Save Data"

7.3 Right to Opt Out of Analytics

You can disable analytics collection at any time by going to Settings within the App and toggling off the "Analytics" option.

8. Children's Privacy

8.1 Age Requirements

Bloodline is intended for users aged 12 and older due to fantasy violence, references to crime, and mature life simulation themes including fictional death. The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area).

8.2 COPPA Compliance

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately.

If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child under the age of 13 has used the App or provided personal information, please contact us immediately using the details in Section 13 so we can take appropriate action.

9. Security

We take the security of your information seriously. Since all game data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data is primarily governed by your device's own security measures, including:

·  Your device's screen lock and passcode

·  Your device's operating system security

·  Your device's app sandboxing protections

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect any data that does pass through our systems against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We recommend that you:

·  Keep your device's operating system updated

·  Use a strong screen lock passcode

·  Do not share your device with untrusted individuals if you have sensitive game data you wish to protect

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain references to third-party websites, services, or content. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by Bloodline. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through or in connection with the App.

11. International Data Transfers

If you access the App from outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, your data may be processed in countries with different data protection laws. Where we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable law, including standard contractual clauses where required by GDPR.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by:

·  Displaying a prominent notice within the App

·  Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy

·  Where required by law, seeking your renewed consent

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately upon posting the updated policy within the App or on our associated platforms.

Your continued use of Bloodline after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
